Recipe created in collaboration with Praznična magazine.

Isn’t it incredible when your food not only tastes great but looks gorgeous too? It is a recipe that I like to call Art on a plate. The perfectly shaped puff pastry, yummy prosciutto, and richness of cheese make this recipe stand out. It doesn’t require many ingredients, but the process is a little tricky. However, it is worth the effort because the end product is flavorful and pleasing to the eyes. Of course, you have to perfectly fold the flowers to bring out the real essence of the recipe. Apart from that, it is a delicate recipe that will make your table look stunning and will be appreciated by everyone.

It is an excellent appetizer for your parties, especially if you have less preparation time. This recipe does not take much time and can be baked under the half an hour. There are so many flavours and textures to this recipe that everyone will ask for more. It is great for your holiday gatherings, brunches, or parties. Usually, I go with a cheeseboard or something simple, but this year, I found this fantastic recipe that is so easy to make, and everyone loves it.

You can use the store-bought puff pastry roll or make one from scratch. It is totally up to you. I prefer using the store-bought because it saves time. Prosciutto is the star of the recipe. Make sure you get the best quality prosciutto to taste the authentic flavours of the recipe.

There is a lot of room for innovation in this recipe. You can experiment with the toppings as much as you want. Add cherry tomatoes, olives, pesto, nuts, fruits, or any toppings of your choice. This is always my go-to recipe if I am looking to impress my guest and I don’t have much time at hand. Tastes great and leaves an impact on the guests!

  • Take the puff pastry out of the fridge and cut it into 6 even squares with a knife.
  • Cut vertical and horizontal lines at each square (as shown in the picture). Be careful and don't cut the whole line just from one and the other side towards the middle. Levae at least 1,5 cm in the middle.

  • Start filing the squares. First add a teaspoon of herb cream cheese spread, then place a slice or two of Brie cheese, a chard leaf, and a slice of prosciutto.
  • At the place where we made the corner notches, we can now carefully pull the edges towards the middle and fold them into a flower(as shown in the picture). Add a slice of radish and onion on top.
